"basements." is an ode to the time i spent in my friend's basement. i spent almost 5 years there, and have enough memories to last a lifetime. often, when it was late, i would put on albums that i found relaxing. it was usually the same few records, with other miscellaneous ones appearing depending on what we listened to at the time.

"basements." is composed entirely out of those albums, those songs, and is representative of those moments. some moments are short, some are long. some of these moments i remember fondly, others are only a blur. "basements." is how i will always remember.
